Tuesday, march n, 102s EVENING HERALD, KLAMATH FALLS, OREGON PAGft SEVEN AMERICAN LEGION TO PUT ON AUTOMOBILE SHOW LAST OF WEEK Latest Thing in Motors and Mechanical Devices Will Be Exhibited Dancing to Follow Exhibits on Thursday, Friday f and Saturday Nights Klamath Fulls, through the energies of the American Legion post, will be treated to one of the most complete automobile shows that the city or county has ever seen ; an automobile show that will put all the past' efforts to Hhame and will give to the motorists the latest thing in four-wheel brakeR, balloon tireB and cut glass wind shields. A motorist, if he is an energetic and enthusi astic one, is more finicky about his car, more particular about the purr of his motor, more precise in the hitting of his cylinders than an old hen with a brood of chicks. Did you ever see in one of these surplus comedies, the proud owner of a Ford come out of a garage, fit for a Packard, brush it up carefully and act like a nurse maid about its care? There is more to that than a good laugh producer; the man who directed that picture knew how to get under people's skins, he knew how to touch and play on the heartstrings of the fond papa of a Ford coupe. In other words, the director "knew his stuff" when it came to bringing pathos to the owner of an auto mobile. That is one reason why an automobile show, is such a success. It is to a man like a showing of spring millinery is to a woman. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings in the new Johnson garage on Eighth and Klamath, the Legion will sponsor the show at which the many automobile films and agencies will take part. Shops that carry auto mobile accessories, will also, be represented and there will be booths for inspecting the latest in car devices. For the entire success of the show credit is due the American' Legion, for they have worked unceasingly to make the affair one of the most complete that has been given in this section of the countiy. The new garage is a spacious one and through the courtesy of Johnson brothers, should add to the affair's success. Following the shows each evening there will be dancing until mid night. . .... Out should come all the automobile fans, lovers of the wheel and the skiddy tire, to flock to the American Legion automobile show on Thursday, Friday and Satur day nights, to make the affair the biggest and best ever given in Klamath Falls. ; ' Latest Patents of Interest to Motorists Recently Granted by U.
