IMPROVEMENT WORK ON DIRT STREETS BEING PROJECTED Main arteries ot travel In Mills addition and Hot Springs addition are being scraped and smoothed by the street department under tbe di rection of J. E. Franey, street com missioner, in an endeavor to facili tate automotive traffic through that section. Owing to time expended in moving equipment from one part ot town to another, Mr. Franey ' is concentrating on one section of the city at a time. Inclement weather has proved an Impediment to street work, and the street department Is taking advant age of the present warm 'weather to fill In the ruts of dirt streets and cut away the 'high centers.
