Wattenburg reg ent - of ' Klamath Falls and Miss Blanche Hicks, regent of Ashland were seated. Mrs. Alice Applegate Pell of Ashland, formerly of Klamath Fall, and a sister of Mrs. W. 0. Smith, was In charge of the program. Mrs. Seymour Jones, state regent was the guest of honor of the afternoon and Introduced the district guests. Mrs. Moore of Medfard reciprocated with a short talk and Mrs. R. E. Wattenburg of Klamath Falls re sponded to . the greeting as 'the youngest chapter in tbe state. Mrs. Wilbur Jones, granddaught er of Mr. and Mrs. Colver gave Inter esting data connected with the house and family which built and occu pied It for many years: The meet ing was highly successful and the three chapters look forward to a similar meeting in the near tuture. MILLS SCHOOL , TO HAVE CAFETERIA I The' kitchen shower for the Mills school -was exceptionally, well, at tended and many useful things were brought and promises of further donations were , made. Final ar rangements were made to start the school cafeteria Monday. - With Mr. Fln'aell, Miller's Market and the Sanitary' Market donating It should bo a decided success. The idea la to serve one hot dish with Jhe child's lunch brought from tbe home. . Any child wislhng to take advantage pi the cafeteria is welcome although some people . have the Impression that It Is for country children only. The charge will be five cents for each dish until the project has boen found to be a success. Mrs. Pear son will have charge of the cafeteria and service will b.i given Monday.
