Irrigation The one big factor in the development of agriculture in Klamath County has been irrigation. The possibilities of the future can only be estimated when with one-half of the section under irrigation that is possible. With more intense cultivation and with the added ' acreage available, this county will produce enormous crops. It is estimated that there are sixty thousand acres of land under imrration at the wresent time. Within Klamath County is one of the twenty-four reclamation projects of the United States government A The government has not been alone in bringing into cultivation many thousands of acres of dry land by the supply of water. Private enterprises and initiative have developed and pioneered many projects.
