' It appearing to the County Court at this time that the old county road from the intersection with the Stite Highway at the gap on Fort Klam ath Hitl In Klamath County to the county line north of Crescent, Ore gon, is little used fo local travel; and that there are very few resident on said described road; that It la so located that there is little or no -local labor along the Hine ot said road, and that for the county to toaintain said road in a passable condition would entail a very heavy expense,, far out of proportion to the benefit to be derived; and that each year during the period ot from about the first day of December to about the first day of June said road is block ed by heavy snows and is ordinarily abandoned during the greater por tion of. said time by the 'traveling public' owing to the. .difficulty ot passing through the heavyy snow In the winter time; and that the County is at present time, with the State. ; constructing a new highway between the points mentioned, and the coun ty does not desire . to-divert money from said highway construction for the purpose of maintaining a road that skill shortly be abandoned al most wholly by the public; and that there la now little or no local labor along said old county road; and tt appearing expedient and lawful that a toil road should be established on td old county- road, and the .Court , li. now fully .advised;, . in. . the premises.
