Hotel Annex, which was destroyed bj
fire a few weeks ago. The announce
ment that this corner was to be Im
proved was welcomed by the business
men of the city who have been rery
anxious that the burned structure-!

ings. The placing of the contract wa
handled by the Sawmill Engineering
and Construction company and the
work of construction will be super
vised by this concern. Cofer Brothers
will be the contractors and they com
menced work this morning.
