Chorpening is in town today from Pine Grove. To Hunt Deer. J. E. Bodge, Harry Ackley and W. W. Smith left this morning for Rogue Riv er to hunt deer and fish. They expect to return Wednesday. Return Home. Mrs. J. J. Furber has returned from Healdsburg, Calif., where she has been visiting relatives fpr two months. She was accompanied home by her sister. Claude Maxwell returned this morn ing to the Pelican Bay Lumber com pany's logging camp, for which he Is bookkeeper. He was here Sunday on business. Married Today. Eugene H. Glfford and Miss Anna Bearvert were married this morning by Justice of the Peace E. W. Gowen at his' home. Mr. Glfford has a, ranch in the Malin country. Goes to Eugene. Circuit Judge D. V. Kuykendall and family leave tomorrow morning for Eugene. His family will remain some time, but Judge Kuykendall expects to return soon to get the other members of the local committee which is to ap pear before the State Highway com mission in the interest of the Florence-Eugene-Klaamth Falls road. Society Meets. The Altar Society of the local church will meet tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock in the assembly room of the church. After a Buck. A. D. Miller expects to leave soon for a deer hunt. Returns Home. Mrs. George Musto returned to her home at Algoma today after a short visit in this city.
