saloons and liquor stores, to be closed
by law after tomorrow night, enjoyed
great and final prosperity today. Cus
tomers were taking home supplies for
tbe expected long dry spell. There
were many job lot bargains of beer,
vines and whiskies. After tomorrow
liquor can be bought in Colorado only
on a physician's prescription or im
ported for private home consumption.
The state had 1600 saloons.
