The Stars aad Stripes were flttlagly placed above the bow. Falls, presented Mrs. Mltchner with a beautiful bouquet of haad-made sunflowers. The audience then adjourned to the baseaient for refreshments, where they were treat ed to an abundance of Ice cream and cake. The company at Mrs. Kitchen- er's table were Mrs. B. S. Grlgsby, county president of Klamath County W. C. T. V.; Mrs. Frances Boyd, local president of Klamath Falls Union. aad Rev. aad Mrs. Child of Ashland. who hare been in the county for some time working In the Interest of the dry state. The table was decorated with sunflowers. At the table at the left of Mrs. Mitchener were seated Hon. R. A. Booth, candidate for Unit ed States senator; Captain O. C. Ap- plegate. Judge H. L. Benson, R. A. Emmltt and O. A. Stearns. The lec ture aad reception was a success, ow ing to the untiring labors of the local W. C. T. U., under the leadership of their president, Mrs. Boyd. The W. C. T. U. of Klamath Falls Is compos ed of a body of women who hare the Interests of other mothers and their children at heart, and are working for the uplift of mankind. Two marriages within the week past have brought down the congrat ulation of the many friends of the contracting parties upon their happy heads. On Saturday night Elder 8. O. Harlan perforated the ceremony uniting Robert Clair Arnold and Edna Elliott, culminating a romance of two years' duration. The groom is well known In local athletic and musical circles, being a basebsll ptsyer and a musician. For the past year he has been connected with the Star theater, aad also with wood working enterprises. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Elli ott, and has resided here many years, attending the local schools. Miss Clara Etta Prather, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Prather, be came the wife of Ross Clifford Sim men oa Tuesday, the ceremony being performed by Rer. J. 8. Stubblefleld, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. The happy couple will re side at the groom's One farm near Olene. Miss Restora French left this morning for Oaklaad, where she will spend several months with relatives and doing special study work.
