The testimony of the state was also
to the effect that after Love had
threatened to go to law over the mat
ter, Crystal made a note and chattel
mortgage In favor of Love, and en

Crystal made a sweeping denial of
this. He says the money was loaned
to him on a promissory note and the
mortgage. He also stated that ho had
advanced money to Lore for meal
tickets and liquor, and he denied any
attempt to take Love's money.
