aviation corps, met his death here to
day. While manouverlng In a Wright
hydroplane, ho apparently started to
glido from a height of about 400 feet
to tho water.
Something went wrong, and Post
either Jumped or fell from the ma
chine as It turned turtle.
Post struck the water some distance
from tho machine, and sunk beneath
the. surface. The machine reached
the water somo seconds after the
man's body.
Lieutenant Post was a native of
Now York, 28 years old.
