Land well cultivated aud with plenty of water yields fifty bush els of wheat to the aero, while dry farming secures from twelve to twen ty bushols. Tho nvorage, under fav orable water conditions, should be thIrty-Qve bushels to tho aero. Oats jleld per acre, with dry farm ing, from twonty-flvo to thirty bush ols; on Irrlgatod land, sixty bushels; and with exceptionally tftvorablo con ditions, almost a hundrod. Barley yields, on dry land, twenty-five bush els per aero, which Is always doubled and often trebled on properly Irri gated land, nye also, grows woll, and poouliarly .enough Is often dry farmed as a hay or roughage crop for stock.
