In sum ming up tho situation he spok about as follows: "I bavo Just returned from an z- tenslvo trip through Idaho and Utah, where the government Is construct ing reclamation project. I think this district Is Just as good, or betUr, than anything that I bare Mn. There Is no doubt about It, you bare the soil and wltb the water on It you will get the crops. Wbat has takes toy eye Is the fine water front that Klamath Fall has. Being; Interest ed in aquatic sport this naturally would appeal to me. The last time that I visited this city I was on ay way to Portland to participate In the rowing race and at that Urn I won America's championship a nlagle sculler. Klamath Fall bad no ath letic club-at.lhat time and It baa mm now. I am surprised that the roamg men ot this city have not formed a club and taken to the water sport. I think there I no exercise that com pare with rowing and for that reas on I have mad It my specialty. It is the chief ot all exercises as It has collected and contrasted In Itself the elements ot all others combined. Rowing contest are not only Inter esting and exciting to the partici pants, but also to the spectators. Cm of the main sources of benefit to be derived from these contest Is th training that must be undergone by the participant while they are pre paring themselves for the final test. Tho ordinary agents of health are exercise, diet, sleep, air, bathing, and clothing. I put them In tbe order that I consider tbem In Importance. All of them are tbe sure result of tbe promotion of aquatic sports.
