CENTENNIAL NOTES. Persia's exhibit at the Lewis and Clark Centennial will be worth $200,000. Vermont's building at the Lewis and Clark Centennial will be a reproduction of the old Constitution House of 1777. Great Britain will occuy 3,600 square feet of exhibit space at the Lewis and Clark Centennial. Hungary will have an exhibit at the Lewis and Clark Centennial worth $30,000. The exhibit will occupy 2,000 square feet of space. Costa Rica will make a fine display of coffee, hemp, cacoa and other products at the Western World's Fair. The dis play is valued at $20,000. An attraction for women at the Lewis and Clark Exposition will be the display of the latest frocks from Pans in the French section of the Manufactures Building. of crops, and photographs of schools are being collected. The finest collection of Indian baskets ever displayed will tie a feature of the exhibit. The Chemawa Indian students are at work making a miniature wagon, which will lie shown at the Fair. While the display will show in a representative way the work of Indians in every jiart of the country where the native Red man still lives, special attention will be given to the work of the Indians of the Pacific Northwest. The Indian exhibit at the Lewis and Clark Centennial will be a large and ex tensive one, in many respects superior to those held at earlier world's fairs. Superintendent Edwin L- Chalcraft of the Chemawa, Ore., Indian school has been appointed to take charge of the exhibit, and the work of collecting the display is well advanced. The exhibit will show the progress of the Indian people during the past cen tury, and displays will be made illustra ting the life of the Indians at the time of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the present condition of the Red man. The exhibit will be given an Indian setting, an abundance of Native grasses, Navajo rugs and blankets, Indian pot tery and basket work being used for this purpose.
