Clyde Grant, 20-vear-old youth who is serving a sentence in the county jail for disorderly conduct was treated at the emergency hospital Sunday for seri ous cuts to four fingers of the right hand, alleged to have been inflicted by "Tom Pitts, who is serving a sentence for a narcotic violation. Deputy Jailer Cameron said the two were not fighting but were involved in some sort of altercation, and that Grant grasped a sharp instrument which Pitts held, and that the other, in pulling it away from him, had inflicted the wounds. All four fingers were cut to the bone, and a tendon was believer to have been severed. After being treated at the emergency hospital. Grant was ordered sent to St. Vincents.
