As the guest of several of the instructors and students, lunch was eaten in the college dining room. Following an executive hoard meeting of the branch N. A. A. C. F in the afternoon at the Y. M. C. A., the guest of honor was entertained a, a beauti fully appointed course dinner at the home of Mr and Mrs. J. \V. Stanley. 538 Mall St., with Attorney and Mrs. F'. J. Minor as hosts. Covers were laid for Mr Bagnall. Mrs. F'. Ij. Cannady, Mrs. Ruby Harden. Mrs. J. W. Stan ley and the hosts. At 8 p. m a mass meeting under the auspices of the branch N. A. A. C. P at Bethel A M. E. church was ad dressed by Mr Bagnall. Here he urged co-operation of the race in helping to win its proper place in the political and social life of the nation. Music was furnished by singers from Bethel. /Lon and Mt. Olivet churches. More than 9600 00 was raised in rash and pledges for the work of the association. Williams Ave. Y. W. C. A. The last meeting of the committee of management until September was held Wednesday morning. The housing committee is planning to hold weekly meetings during the summer. The Blue Triangle club has had its annual election and Mrs. N. M. Carr is the new president. During July and August the Y. W. C.
