Treasurer Embezzles $12,000 New York City, Feb II.—That the funds of Imperial Lodge of Flks, I. It O. E., have been stolen for years by its financial secretary, Henson J. Stiles, and that the loss during the period of five years and six months that he has been financial secretary has averaged between $2500 and $3000 yearly, or more than $ 12,000, are the conclusions reached by the accountants now going over the lodge's hooks. Exalted Ruler Brown suspended Stiles last Thursday night and turned him over to the l, nited Fidelity Bonding Company.
