Sop plies to last several months have been broucbt to the mine from Likely. Work will be prosecuted in a vigor ous manner. Some very rich visible gold specimens have been taken from this property. In fact it is the sanro vein as that of tbe Fern mine, and w would not be at all surprised if the result of this work shows something very satisfactory. The gold brick on exbibiiton at tbe First National Bank Lakeview was produced from seven aud a ha'f tons of rock from the Sebeur 4 Bassler lease on the Sunshine property. The brick was from the free gold caught on tte p-ates. The taiUgns,after bay ing roasted and cyanided should yield quite as much more gold.
