Mrs. Watson moved to Gates in 1954 from 29 Palms. Calif, and to Mill City about eight years ago. Last month she moved to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Lo- dahl. Last Saturday evening mem bers of the Round Robin Pino chle Club entertained their husbands at their annual no- nost dinner at the Frontier Inn followed by an evening of cards at the home of Mr and Mrs. Arey Podrabsky. The party also honored two of their members, Mrs. Mel Rambo, who has moved ‘o Sa lem, and Mrs. Rocky Moore who will be retiring soon and moving from the area. Guests at Saturday nigh’s party were Mr. and Mis. Wayne Buchanan from Lyons, Mrs. Kay Northrup from Sa lem, Mr. and Mrs Francis B i- deker, Mr. and Mrs. Verne Rush, and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Trout Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Rambo were each presented with a gift from the club. Mrs. Virgtl Trout received high for the ladies. Mrs David Barnhardt received low, John MacGregor received high for the men and George Davis re ceived low. Mrs Charley Stewart received pinochle for the group Mrs. Podrabsky served cof fee and pastries during the evening. Mrs Linebaugh is a sister of the late "Rube" Long, author of "The Oregon Desert ” On the return trip to Mill Oity, the Crees had the mis fortune of hitting a deer be tween the Silver latke and Ft Rock area, killing the large buck and damaging the front end of their Blazer. They were able to drive it home and neither were injured. Ray and Jams Taylor of China Lake. Calif., are being congratulated on the birth of their second child, a son, born Feb. 24. He weighed 6 lbs. lOi'i oz. and has been named Aaron Damon. Greeting him at home is his two year old brother, Troy.
