Henry Meeker Funeral services were held at Weddle’s Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday for M. Henry Meeker of 1041 S. E. 3rd St. who passed away last Thursday evening at the Sa lem Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for a long time, but had only been hospitalized since Sun day. He was 87 years of age. A retired cab driver, he came to Mill City 13 years ago from Nebraska. He was a member of the Adventist Church. He was a native of Mississippi. Survivors include his wi dow, Ada Meeker; one son, Glen Staley of Pacifica, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys | Rippy of Phoenix, Ariz. and , Mrs. Adeline Bolton of Milton, Fla.; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one I great-great-grandchild. Addison Foster Addison Foster, 59, lifelong resident of Salem passed away Saturday at his home from a heart attack. He was the hus band of Mrs. Sally Krause Foster, who lived in Mill City for several years when her husband was a teacher here. Mr. Foster was a department manager for West Foods Co. for 26 years. He was a mem ber of the First Baptist Church, the Elks, Coast Guard Aux., and U. S. Power Squad ron. He was a WWI I navy veteran. Services were held at 3:00 Tuesday at the Barrick Chapel in Salem with private inter ment.
