Callers last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kelly included Mr .and Mrs Vernon Todd of Aumsville, Mrs. Don Goode, her daughter, Mrs. Donald Howard, and her granddaughter, DiDi Ann, all of Eugene, and the Misses Martha Veness and Janice I Goodsell, both of Portland Miss Veness had driven up to see the old house where her family formerly lived, and which was recently destroyed by fire. She also called on some old-time friends. She is employed in the head office of the U. S. National Bank of Portland. Dr. and Mrs. Paul Barkley, Dan, Chris, and Andy, spent the New Year’s weekend with their parents, the Charles Kellys, leaving Tuesday morn ing for their home in Pullman, Wash. They had driven to Portland before Christmas, then flown to Escalon, Calif, to help his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. W.
