Unique Decorations At Santiam Hospital Auxiliary Card Party STAYTON — Many com ments were heard concerning the unique and interesting de corations at the Santiam Mem orial Hospital Auxiliary card party Thursday. Using “The Cards” for their theme in decorating, they fas- ioned an attractive life size King’ and ‘Queen.’ Red and black bouquets added to the many varied interests. Mrs. Betty Wallace, Mrs. Blanche Wallace, Mrs. Arta Glidewell and Mrs. Carol Glidewell made up the decorating com mittee. Door prizes were donated by Stayton merchants. Despite the stormy weather a fair sized crowd attended the benefit social with bridge, pinochle and 500 being play ed by the individual groups. Receipts are to be used to help defray the rent for a Heart Monitoring Machine re cently installed.
