Ants In Your Pantry?— When warm weather comes, tne ants may come too. USDA workers recommend ail-base sprays for effective ant control at home. These sprays man be bought at hardware, drug or department stores un der several trade names. To be sure you get an effect ive one, check the label. The spray should ontain one of the following insecticides: 2% chi.>4 dane, 0.5 percent aiedrme* 0.5% heptachlor. Spray where you see ants crawling but do not contaminate food or dishes. Try to trace ants back to where they enter ed the house. Then spray the outside walls from the grounds up to the windows. Also spray lower part of window frames and around doors. Take precautions with an oil spray because it is flammable and don't use near an open flame. Don't use on asphalt tile or linoleum. It will dissolve tiling. It will also injure grass, trees and shrubs. Be sure to read the directions on the label.
