Hill Top Market Elmer, Aggie, Ann, Nebs, Jim Mrs. Dean Branch and her brother Ross Marvin of Bremerton, Wash., visited from Friday to Sunday. De cember 19 to 21. at the Raymond Branch home. Mrs. Branch will leave soon after the first of the year for Japan where she will join her hus band, who is in Army Security there. He is stationed near Tokyo. Mr. and Mrs. D. L- Teeters and sons and Mrs. Teeter’s aunt, Mrs Blanch McDonald of Salem, visited Sunday, December 21 at the Chris McDonald home at Tumalo. The Mc Donalds were Christmas dinner gue.-ts at the Teeters home. Mr. and Mrs. Don Engdahl and sons, of Richmond, Calif., arrived December 24 at the J. M. Teeters home for several days visit with re latives here. Mrs. Mabel Patton visited during the Christmas holidays with her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Pat ton of Dallas. Recent guests at the Julius Tietze home were Mrs Tietze’s daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Buxton and daughter of Coos Bay. Mr. and Mrs Julius Tietze and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Richmond and two daughters spent Christmas day at a large family gathering at the Frank Dugger home at Keiser. Mr. and Mrs. Frank White of Carson, Wash., were Christmas guests at the home of their daugh ter’s family, the Gerald Rockwells. Lester Luke of Eugene was a visitor at the Rockwells the last of the week. The Tom Rice family have pur chased the Ken Golliet house on the hill above town and will move as soon as they have finished re pairs on the house. The Rices have been living in the Larry K’msey house at the foot of the school house hill. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Brant of Mac- leay are announcing the birth of a daughter at a Salem hospital De cember 22 The new girl, who is the Brant’s sixth child has been named Rhonda Fay. Mrs. Jennie Moe is staying at the Frant home helping care for her new granddaughter. Christmas holiday guests at the James Hardy home were Mrs. Har dy’s father and sister, Harry Hud low and Kathleen of Pasco, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crook and Mrs. Eva Crook were Christmas day guests at the Clifford Crook home in Mill City Mrs. William Hueller, who has been spending the Holidays with her par ents. Mr and Mrs. Lloyd Sletto, will leave Thursday for Portland where she will visit overnight with her hus band’s parents before she returns to Mountain Home, Mont., where she is teaching. Mr. and Mrs. Art Anderson re turned home Sunday evening from Brookings where they visited with their son and family the Jack An dersons They all went to Fairfield, Calif., for Christmas where they were guests of Mrs. Anderson’s sis- , ters family. Mr. and Mrs. William Longfellow were the «enior members at a large family dinner held at the clubhouse Saturday evening, December 27.
