They can do their bit in keeping us enslaved by telling children that the pound ing of the war drum must always be answered by a war dance of blood. We can be free if educators help the young think for themselves. The unborn minutes of the new year must show some hint of the way in which the tones of human life can be struck so that harmony results. Men everywhere need not be bound by the past. We prefer the union that exists when a natural chord is struck. Those brave men of the new world colonies, who inspired the building of the United States, joined forces in a common goal— freedom.
