EVA BRESSLER Orin Morgan principal at the Mari- Linn school reports there were 191 on hand for the first day opening of school Monday, Sept. 8, with the boys out-numbering the girls. There are 105 boys and 86 girls, 25 first graders, 23 second, 22 third, 27 fourth, 25 fifth, 22 sixth, 22 seventh and 25 eighth. Hot lunches are being served again this year with Mrs. Gladys Hurst as cook and Mrs. Melvine Franklin as assistant. Mrs. Hugh Johnston honored their son Kenton on his birthday anniver sary with a party held at their home. Games and refreshments furnished the fun. Those enjoying the party were Kenton the honored guest.
