have been busy shearing lambs and
spraying their sheep for ticks.
The Floyd Bassetts received a phone
message early Tuesday morning in­

is Bassett’s first grandchild.
W. W. Forrest had x-rays in Salem
last week, Forrest hasn't been well
for quite a while, He has been under
the doctors care for some time,
Ben McCall made a trip to central

to remodel the house, put in plumbing

Sgt. Ray Monroe is reported by his
wife Maney Monroe to be on .his way
home from Germany. Mrs. Monroe
expects to receive word soon that he
has received his release and is return­
ing to Idanha.
