The discourse was by Elder Lindsey, the pastor. About 30 comrades of the deceased soldiers were present. Of these the following were from Portland: Wm W. Widmer, C. A. Wbitnev, Edward Rommell, H C. Wilson. Joe Prentiss. Geo. B. McKinney, Guy D. Simmons. Burial of Hibbs was in Masonic cemetery and that of Miller in the Hap py Valley cemetery, beside the grave of his father, recently deceased.
