were read aud approved as follows:
On Indian War Veterans—Whereas,
the valuable services of the IndianWar
Veterans of the Pacific northwest enti­
tle them to the gratitude of the entire
people of the United States; therefore,
be it Resolved, that we favor a law
granting them pensions on an equality
with the Mexican War Veterans.
