THE BONNEVILLE DAM CHRONICLE FRIDAY, DECEMBER 31. 1937 HOOD RIVER A gay week gone—and another just as gay in view. Intertwined 1 with the holly of Christmas feasting is the mistletoe of romance. Two weddings of considerable in terest, a betrothal announcement, the arrival of two young brides into our midst, gay watch night dinners and dances, entertaining by the younger set, vacationing collegians among us, the hospitalies of open house—all these tell a story of mirth and ^ood cheer. We're welcoming holidays guests and new neighbors—we’re wistfully waving good-bye to friends on their way southward. Lots of news in the making! ♦ (Clip out this ballot, indicate your choice [or the name of the lake to be formed by the Bonneville Dam. and mail to the Sun Publishing C o, H ood River.
