Robert Bchuknecht, who is now with the engineering deportment of the (gen eral Electric Co. in Portland, spent the week eud here with his imrents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Bchukuecht. Hi mon Benson, builder of the Colom bia Gorge hotel and one of the earliest promoters of the Columiba River high way idee, has arrived in Portland from Beverley Hills, Calif., where he now resides. Mrs. Ethel Elliott, who has been ill the past week in Portland, has re turned to her lieauty parlor In the Cobb apartments. Mm. H. B. Fait was in charge of the parlor during Mrs. Bl- llott’s absence.
