Mias Comte Offers Keys
Mias Ruth Comins, in charge of the
books of the Bartol Motor Co., has ad
vertised offering two keys to thieves,
who Friday night broke Into her
garage, atealing a tire and other auto
mobile accessories. The thieves took
two padlocks, but they have the keys
for neither.
'The keys are no good to me,” said
Miss Coiulus. “Maybe they will bene
fit the fellows with the locks. They
can have them if they will make
themselves known.”

Conover Arrests Ttfo Youths
Catching them in the act of stealing
a uew tire, rim and tube from an auto
mobile parked on a residence »treat at
3 a. m. Sunday, Night Marshal Con
over arrested two young meu who
gave the names William Mullin and
Bud Vail. The young men, held in
Jail, stated that they came from Ban
Bernardino, Calif. The automobile be
longed to a traveling tent show.
Judge Blagg fined each of the young

Wrecked Car Found
A badly wrecked automobile, listed
as the property of J. Rick, 841 Oak
street, Portland, was found Friday
night by Traffic Officer Devin and
Night Marshal Conover blockading the
roadway on the Hood river bridge of
the Columbia River highway. The
driver could not be located. The car
was without lights and a menace to
traffic. Officers believed the car had
been stolen.
