HOOD RIVER GLACIER, THURSDAY, JANUARY 8, Î925
The W. C. T. U. will meet at the
home of Mrs. Forcier next Tuesday
Last week through an oversight We
emitted mention of the annual alum
ni banquet and dance of Saturday
night following Christmas Tbe ban
quet of delicious and satisfying food
was surved by Mrs. Boles and dangb-
tera at Odell hotel. The dance was
¿ven in Odell grange hall.
Both
were well attended and thoroughly
enjoyed by those who were present.
The evergreens placed as a setting
for the Laraway-Haya wedding were
left over Sunday and those who at
tended church servil-es found them
selves, as It were, in a spot surround
ed by a forest, an effect most beautl-
ful. The church Is peculiarly adapt
ed to this form of decoration and
this wedding we are assured was
especially beautiful. Doubtless a com
plete account by one who was there
will appear in this week’s Glacier.
Rar. G. E. Heineck, former pastor of
Ptoe Grove and Odell, was the oM-
cictlng minister. This was the third
wedding solemnised In this church;
the first, the dark Jakku wedding of
four years ago last November, and
the two weddings of recent date.
J. M. Nickerson stopped over for a
short visit with his son, B. H. Nick-
