nOOD RIVER GLACIER, THURSDAY, MARCH 8, 1021 Big Drop in Fordson Tractor Price FINAL WATER CASE HEARD LAST WEEK The Tractor you will want is the FORDSON Do you realize that the price of this wonderful Tractor is only $625.00 The final chapter of circuit court hearings of objections to findings of the State Water Hoard in an adjudica tion of claims to water rights on the Hood river watershed transpired be fore Circuit Judge Wilson last Wednes day, when a compromise was reached between J. I. Miller and neighbors of the Oak Grove district and the Hood River Irrigation district. With the compromise, which permits Mr. Miller et al the perpetual use of 50 inches of water from a flume constructed by the Stanley-Smith Lumber Co. for convey ing its products from a mill at Green Point a 9-mile distance to Kuthton on the O-W. R. & N., agreed to, the con test was dropped. Mr. Miller and associates will pay $7,000 for the right. The Water Board had granted the re monstrating orchardists use of 50 inches of water from 6 p. m. to 7 a. m. daily for a payment of $6' per inch per annum. The Green Point mill has been dis mantled and the lumber company's water rights are now held under option by their irrigation concern. With the litigation settled, it is expected the purchase will be effected. F. O. B. DETROIT $ 25 35 F. O. B. HOOD RIVER We have a shipment of these Tractors on hand and ready for immediate delivery. HIGHWAY AUTO CO., Hood River, Oregon. Gentlemen: I can truly say that I tried out very thoroughly several different tractors and finally decided that the Fageol was the only one that would do my orchard work satisfactorily. I have used the Fajreol now through the season. If I had to buy again a tractor for the same work I would buy a Fageol. Yours truly, J. F. WATT Highway Auto Co.
