Protect Your Radiator
When Days Turn Cold and Stormy
you naturally think of your overcoat.
You wouldn't 0 out without the
protection of a Mackinaw or a Big- Over
coat. The motor of an automobile is greatly
affected by cold. We needn't tell you of
the ills and inconveniences that follow a cold
motor.
But we will tell you how you may prevent these
inconveniences. Let our new department make a
radiator cover for your machine. The expense is
nominal when you consider the elimination of an
noyances it will create. This is our wintertime
advice: Dress yourself warmly and avoid sneezing
and colds. Get one of our Radiator Covers, pro
tect your car, and thus keep yourself in an even
good humor when storms brew.
Our TOP REPAIR DEPARTMENT will make that leaky
top as good as new. We also manufacture extra
cushions and upholster seats.

Fads on War Riik Insurance
Soldiers, sa Ion and marines and
their dependents in every community
want to know the fa ts about govern

the world vrtir. Unfortunately many
thiough misunderstanding, misrepre

lapse.
After December 81, 1920, and up to
July 1, 1821, all those desiring to reui

discharge, must furnish evidence of in
lurabilitj satisafctory to the director

be lurnished with the application for
re statement.
All who carried war risk insurance
whi e in the mi'itary service and a ter
leaving the service aliowel it to lapse
are eligible to make application for re
instatement. Many are not aware of
the foregoing and there are only a few
days left In which those who were dis
charged less than 18 months can rein
state without a medical examination.
Cow Has lljdrophobia
Ranchers fear that a coyote, infect
ed with hydrophobia, may have, bitten
a dog on the Corwin ranch. The Cor
win dog was shot, its owner thinking
that it was suffering from the effects
of numerous porcupine quill imle e
in his mouth an i nose. Later, howj
ever, a cow develop, a disease wh ch
was diagnosed as hydrohpobia. No
.ogs of the diftrict have been reporte
as ailing, and no case of hy ronrub a
has been reported here. Coyotes in
fest the foothills, a- d these animals
may have brought the disease from
eastern Oregon, where hydrophobia
occurs frequently.

CHRISTMAS
Is One Week Away
But it is time you were thinking of the meat for your
Christmas dinner. Some prefer the well-browned juicy
breast of our own American turkey. Others like roast
beef of old England. For some, the Christmas table must
be resplendent with a little roast pig and ail the garnish
ments. Still others demandja goose or a duck.
We can supply your every wish, but in instances it is
necessary that we have the order in advance.
