THE FOUNTAIN IS DEDICATED On Thursday afternoon, April 2, tbe bronze fountain, purchased through tbe efforts of tbe W. U. T. U., waa dedicated and presented to tbe city. More tban 500 school children marched two abreast from their school rooms to tbe alte of tbe fountain on Oak atreet and there formed an order ly and oompaot mass nf humanity clearly indicating, in a manner not to be misunderstood, tbat Uood Klver is growlog town and baa a nrignt lu ture. Tbe fountain was draped with a flag and a flag waa carried by tbe children. Tbe exeroises were opened bv a white ribbon sang entitled, "Un der tbe Star Spangled banner, " and sung to tbe tune ot "Marching Ibroagh Ueoigia. " A prayer waa offered by Kev. Ciilmore. Mia.
