Friday, June 0,' Frank Kilby lost his
house and all his household goods, .by
fire. They only saved th clothing they
wore. The houso cost about $1500 and
was insured for $500. They had about
$100 on tho contents which is but a
small part of its vulue.
Last Saturday morning tho "OS. Vf.
Rocky, No. 508" arrived in Kalnior and
will lo put in commission on the Fox
crock logging road. Tho engine was
run down a'sido track of the A. & 0. to
tho new road. Mr. Hockey will soon be
hauling logs from the bead of Fox creek
to tho river. " . . .
All tho sawmills in tho vicinity of
ltalnlor are kept buy these days. Tho
Willard-Oaso Lumber Co. is rocoiving
more orders than thoy can fill with their
mill, and have enlisted the assistance' of
Wilson-Norby and Howard mills. Tho
freight pulls ten car loads of lumber out
