To Be Honored
ASHUND Mra. Mildred
Klum, 94 Granite Street, is to
be guest of honor November 22
at the annual Homecoming of
the University of Hawaii. The
invitation for the island trip
was extended in grateful appre
ciation to "Proc" (Otto) Klum's
widow m recognition of the out
standing contribution the ath
letic director-coach made dur
ing the 20's and 30's. The uni
versity gymnasium was dedicat
ed to him a few years ago.
'Mrs. Klum will fly to Hawaii
by jet November 20 and will
remain for two weeks visiting
friends whom she knew while
she and her husband were con
nected with the university.

ColIum have returned from their
wedding trip to San Francisco
and are living at 392 O'Gara
Street. The bride is the former
Miss Farbara Morton, daughter
of Mrs. Lorraine E. Smith, 701
Dakota Street, and the late Ar
nold L. Morton.
The bridegroom is a son of
Mr. and Mrs. H. C. McColIum,
764 West McAndrews Road.
The ceremony was performed
in Medford Friends Church No
vember 1 at 8 o'clock in the
evening by the Rev. Bernard
Andrews of First Baptist
Church.
Allen L. Morton, Sacramento,
Calif., gave his sister in mar
riage. The bride's satin gown
was designed with lace trimmed
bodice, and appliques of lace
trimmed the skirt which formed
a chapel train. A satin head
piece held her shoulder length
veil and she carried a cascade
bouquet of white pompon chrys
anthemums and ivy with an or

Frazier, Phoenix, a brother-in-law
of the bridegroom.

Clarence L. Smith sang the
wedding songs.

given by the bride's mother, was
attended by some 100 guests.

mums and candelabra.

Mrs. Lee Sanderson registered
the guests and Mrs, Sam Soren
son was at the gift table.
The bride's mother wore a tur
quoise knit suit with brown ac
cessories and white orchid cor
sage. The bridegroom's mother
was dressed in a fur trimmed
blue suit and black accessories.
Her corsage was a pink orchid.
For traveling the bride wore
a white suit with red accessor
ies.
Both the bride and bridegroom
attended Medford High School.
The bride is a beautician em
ployed at Fashion Flair Beauty
Salon. The bridegroom is with
the Schleigh Brothers Wrecking
Company.

attendant. Miss Patricia Adams,

one-man show at Rogue Gallery.
He is on the faculty of Humboldt
State College, Eureka, Calif.
The show opened last evening
with a reception at the gallery
in Mr. Schuler's honor and will
remain open until December 12.

Quinby, seniors at Humboldt
State College, who accompanied
Mr. Schuler here for the show
opening and reception.

small supper party at his home
