Wears White Suit
For her wedding the bride
chose a white wool suit with
white picture hat and her flow
ers were pink and white carna
tions. Miss Sheryle DeHaven, White
City, the bride's only attendant,
wore a chrysanthemum yellow
wool suit. Her bouquet was of
" amall white chrysanthemums.
Larry DeHaven, also White
City, served as best man.
About 60 guests were at the
reception held in the Short
home following the ceremony
and given by the bridegroom's
parents. Mrs. Donald DeHaven
cut tne wedding cake and Miss
Judy DeHaven served.
The bridegroom's mother
wore a sheath beige colored
dress.
The bridegroom, who entered
the Army soon after gradua
tion is stationed for the present
at Ft. Benning, Ga., with the
Army Airborne Division. Both
the newlyweds are graduates of
Eagle Point High school.
In California
The couple traveled to Los
Angeles where they visited the
bride's parents and where the
bride remained. She plans to be
there until the bridegroom's
leave during the Christmas
season, when she will join him
to live at his' next station in
Kentucky.
The bride's mother was hos
pitalized at the time of the wed
ding rites and her death oc
curred soon after.

Head To Visit
Mrs. Mabel Thomas, stale
president of the Fraternal Order
of Eagles auxiliary, will be hon
ored at a dinner Thursday, No
vember 14 in the Eagles hall,
when women of the Crater Lake
aerie auxiliary will entertain.
The state officer will make
an official visit to the group
following the dinner. Members
are to take salads.
Coffee and cake will be served
In the auxiliary hall after the
meeting. All members are in
vited to attend.

The bride, given In marriage
by her father, wore a white
gown of taffeta peau de soie
fashioned with fitted bodice,
bateau neckline,' and pleated
skirt which formed a chapel
train. The bodice midriff was
accented with Alencon lace and
crystal beading and her veil of
silk illusion was elbow length.
It was held by a lace crown
trimmed with crystal beads and
pearl drops. She carried a bou
quet of yellow roses, stephano
tis, and a white orchid.

For traveling to Connecticut
by car, the bride wore a royal
blue wool sheath dress and jack
et with ' Cerulean mink collar
and gray patent leather. Her
corsage was a white orchid.
While at Oregon State Uni
versity the bride was affiliated
with Alpha Omicron Pi social
sorority and the bridegroom
with Phi Kappa Tau social fra
ternity.

Mr. and Mrs. Hoag, the bride
groom's parents, and Mr. Un
derwood.

Judge L. L. Sawyer, district
court judge, performed the
rites in Jackson County Court
house. Attending the couple were
Mrs. Albert Bates, and Richard
Isaacs, Ashland.
For her marriage the bride
wore an aqua blue wool frock
with white accessories. Her
corsage was an orchid.
Mrs. Bates was dressed in a
beige suit and her accessories
were black. She wore a pink
carnation corsage.
The wedding supper was serv
ed at Kim's Restaurant. .
The couple is living at 11
Almond Street.
The bride is a daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. C. J. Chord, 205 Cot
tage Street. She attended Med
ford High School and is em
ployed as a secretary for New
York Life Insurance Company.
The bridegroom studied at
William and Mary College, Wil
liamsburg, Va. He is a news
caster for KBES-TV, Channel 5.

Luncheon Planned
A covered dish luncheon and
business session are announced
for members of Mistletoe Club
of the Royal Neighbors of Amer
ica Lodge. The luncheon will be
served at 12 noon, Wednesday,
November 13 in the Girls Com
munity Club and the business
meeting will follow.
Mrs. Lula Webster is luncheon
chairman.

Street, to Robert Lichtenstcin

bride-elect's mother.
The bridegroom-elect is a son
of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lichten
stein, Lampman Road, Gold
Hill.
Miss Watrud, a Medford High
School graduate, also attended
Southern Oregon College. She
now is employed at Jean Hart,
Inc. Her fiance also attended
Southern Oregon College and
was graduated from Crater
High School. He is employed at
Morse Motors.
