It will be the sixth conflict

On the strength of iis victory

Complacency Worries
"We've got no pushover," said
the coach at that time.
His warning was proved out.
Medford had to rise up and
throw back two strong bids by
the Capital city club before win

the rivalry. The Whirlwind won
39 to 6 and 42 to 6 in 1959, 35 to

After the victory over George
Fox last week end, termed "dis
appointing" despite a 47 to 7
score, Coach Al Akins has been
working his Raider squad this
week with all the fervor of a
drill seargeant. He has had his i
charges working primarily on
defense this week.
Akins has admitted some
worry concerning the week end
fracas but it is indicated that
he feels that the Raiders can
take their rivals from the North. I
OCE also has a verdict over the
George Fox Quakers. The score
was 33 to 6 after a first half
deadlock.
