hLMJAV. hhKih.MHKK 22. 1W3 MEDFORBtlWTRIBroi Phoenix Pirates Rip Coquille 28-0 PHOENIX Phoenix high's powerful football force punched lo a pair of early touchdowns, reached the end zone again in the third and fourth quarters and held the opposition offense in check to smash Coquille's Rod Devils 28 to 0 on Friday night at Coquille. It was the second victory for the Pirates and the second loss in as many games this season for the Devils, who never really threatened. Jim Consbruck found pay soil twice for the Buccaneers and Ron Williams and Jon Granby each once. Fumble Recovered Phoenix marched 72 yards off the opening kick off and Cons bruck went the last six yards and ran the conversion tally. The kickoff was a short on sider by Dave Westfall. Greg Esp fell on the ball on the Coquille 49 to open another Pirate bid. Consbruck goaled on a 19-yard end sweep and again ran the bonus point. A poor Coquille punt gave Phoenix its third opportunity. The Pirates started out from the Red Devil 30 stripe.
