ROCKEFELLER TO VISIT EAST BERLIN
BERLIN (UPI) New York Gov. Nelson A. Rockefeller will
tour the Berlin wall and make a trip to East Berlin when he
arrives here Sunday, Sept. 29, city officials said Thursday,
BANANAS SEEN AS HEART ATTACK PREVENTIVE
EDMONTON, Alta. (UPI) Dr. R. Foster Scott, an associate
professor of pathology at the Albany, N.Y., Medical college,
said Thursday that the consumption of banana could prevent many
heart attacks in North America, Scott said the diet of East Afri
cans consisted almost totally of bananas and noted thai they do
not develop hardening of the arteries condition that causes
heart attacks.

"They can't preach law and
order while they swing into line
beside those who call for the

cry 'bomb Cuba now'," he said.
The California governor said
Republicans need to draw a
"clear line between the goals of
Abraham Lincoln and the objec
tives of Robert Welch." Welch
heads the John Birch Society.
"I call on Democrats to get
in the fight to show the Birchers
for what they arc racists,
warmongers, hatcmongers and
apostles of nonthink," Brown
told the Democrats.

Kennedy administration's record

tion had reversed the Eisenhow
er policy of no new starts on
water or power projects and had
begun work on 74 major projects
