Montague Couple Married Montague Miss Maxine Freitas, Hornbrook, eldest daughter of Mrs. Louis Frei tas and the late Mr. Freitas, became the bride of Raymond Brooks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brooks, Montague, in a recent ceremony at the Fam ily Fellowship church. The Rev. Marjorie Brown offici ated at the double-ring cere mony. Given in marriage by her uncle, Frank Freitas, the bride wore a white afternoon frock with a bouffant skirt and a finger-tip length veil of lace. She carried a bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaid. Miss Di anne Houston, Hornbrook, wore a blue flowered dress and a white casafljiarwwft- sage. Best man was Steven Beebe and guests were seated by Richard Umbarger, cousin of the bridegroom and Arthur Freitas, cousin of the bride. Guests were registered by Mrs. Gerald Brooks. Cothrin, Box 140, Butte Falls highway, Eagle Point. The Rev. William H. Col lier performed the double ring ceremony in a selling of yellow gladioli, dahlia and marigolds arranged in bas kets. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Deen, Box 139, Butte Falls highway. Eagle Point. The bride, who was given in marriage bv her father,' wore a ballerina length gown of ballet blue Chanjilly lace over blue taffeta, made with fitted bodice and full skirt. The scoop neckline was ac cented with simulated pearls. She wore a corsage of lem on yellow rose buds with two seed pearl hearts. For her daughter's wedding and the reception that follow ed, Mrs. Cothrin wore a pink schiffli embroidered linen dress and grey accessories. The bridegroom's mother wore a deep lavender dress and white accessories. Their corsages were of pink carna tions. The bride is a graduate of Elk Grove Usion High school, Elk Grove, Calif. The bride groom was graduated from Butte Falls High school and is employed at Cascade Wood Products Company, White City. Bailey in a candlelight cere mony held Friday, August 16 at First Methodist church, Medford. The Rev. Gerald Nelson, associate pastor, per formed the double ring riles at 8 o'clock in the evening. Chit tock, 189 Vasthi Way, Med ford and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wil mcr W. Bailey, 6H7 Fifth ave nue, Gold Hill. Both families are long time residents of southern Oregon. Arrangements of pink and white gladioli in white bas kets decorated the church for the wedding. White satin bows were used at the pew ends. Wedding music was played by Mrs. Leslie Boardman, or ganist. The bride, given in mar riage by her father, wore a gown of Chanlilly type lace over taffeta fashioned with a long - sleeved Basque bodice and Sabrina neckline embroi dered with pearls and sequins.
