After the title flight of 64 in the men's came 22 flights of 16 players each. There were six flights of ladies and five of senior men. First round losers in t h e men's championship flight fall into the first flight and other men's losers go into consola tion brackets. In seniors' and ladies' play opening round losers drop to lower flights. Not all first round matches are being played today. In some flights they are set for Friday.
