There were more than 250 rabbits on display in the fair this year (some had offspring during the week), more than were shown previously. Lake Creek Girl Is Champion of Style Revue at 4-H Fair Nancy Carroll. Lake Creek, was named grand champion of the 4-H style revue Friday night near the conclusion of the Jackson county 4-H and FFA fair. She also received the U.S. National bank award. Other award winners were Sue Cornutt, Central Point, Fruit Growers' league award; Amy Jo Helm, Sis-Q 4-H club, Margaret Gardner award for home improvement class. Carol Foote.
