Party Shishkabob Ideal For Patio Entertaining A ffnnd main dish fnr nnv patio barbecue party is shish kabob combined with pep pen, onions, mushrooms and tomato wedges. This recipe calls for the traditional marinated lamb kabobs but with beer or ale added to the marinade sea soning. The portions in this recipe will yield 10 to 12 servings and is ideal for your next barbecue party, PARTY SHISHKABOB One leg of lamb (5 to 7 pounds) boned; one peeled, minced clove garlic; one-third cup olive or salad oil; one cup beer or ale; two tablespoons lemon juice; one -half tea apoon coarsely ground pepper; one tablespoon salt; ony bay leaf; one-half teaspoon dry mustard; one teaspoon crush ed basil; one-half teaspoon crushed oregano; one-half teaspoon thyme; six tn eight green peppers; 18 to 20 small white onions; 16 to 20 mush rooms; 16 to 20 tomato wedges. Have vnur meatman rp move bone from leg of lamb and cut meat into two-inch chunks, removing gristle and most of fat. To make mari nade, combine garlic, olive oil, beer, lemon juice, pepper, salt, bay leaf, mustard, basil, oregano and thyme in large bowl. Add Iamb Dieces and let sland in refrigerator at least three hours or overnight. Turn the lamb in the mari nade occasionally. Cut seeded green peppers into two-inch Dieces. nut neel. ed onions in halves. Remove stems from mushrooms. When ready to cook, alternate mari nated Iamb chunks, green pep per pieces, halved onions, mushroom caps and tomato WpHCPS nn 10 tn 19 1nn metal skewers.
