The Poai said control of a family trust, which includes the voting shares of the com pany, would remain with Mrs. Graham to Insure that the newspaper "remains in the hands of persons who be lieve that the newspaper should be Independent and dedicated to the welfare of the community and the nation." t President Kennedy and other national leaders paid final tribute to Graham Tues day at memorial services in the Washington Cathedral. Graham, 48, took his own life Saturday. Sacramento College Students Arrive Ashland - Twenty - two members of a Sacramento State college travel study course arrived in Ashland this week for a four-day vis it to the Oregon Shakespear ean Festival, The group journed to Ash land as a part of a regular ly scheduled travel study course under the guidance of Dr. George W. Creel, pro fessor of English. The Sacramento Slate col lege class will attend the Fes tival's four rotating presenta tions for 1063. In addition to the plays, they will see the Festival collection of Shake spearean exhibits and the 16th century editions of Tudor works at the city library, as well as attend Renaissance In stitute events and lectures de signed to enhance their under standing of the plays. Eisenhower Returns To Normandy Beach Caen, France -IUPIW Former President Dwight D. Eisen hower today returned to the Normandy beaches where 19 years ago he landed the big gest invasion force in history to begin the second front In Europe. The President was out early with television crews to film what he called "an ad venture In nostalgia" for the Columbia Broadcasting System. The weather was overcast i but dry and warmish as the President drove from his ho-! tel here to visit some of the beaches made famous by the Allied landings June 6. 1944.
