PRITZ The body of Leonard M. Pritz. 64, of 130 West Main St., who died June 19, was sent to Golden Gate National ceme tery. San Bruno, Calif, Thurs day by Perl Funeral home. Fu neral services and interment will be held in the cemetery at 3 pjn. Monday, July 1. Mr. Pritz was born Dec. II. 1898, in Rockford, 111. He was occupied most of his life as a pauern maker. For several pnor 10 jDou, he was a resident of the Veterans Ad ministration Domiciliary at wnite City. He was a veteran of Wnriri War I servine with the Unitprt States Army. He enlisted Sept. ivii, ana was discharged warm 21, lam. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Casey, Sunnyvale, Calif., and one sis ter, Miss Elna Pritz, Rockford, 111. ELDON BEAN Funeral services for Eldon (Stub) Leonard Bean, 46, of Star route, box 225, Prospect, who died Wednesday in a lo cal hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Memory Gardens Funeral home. The Rev. Dorland Woods of the Prospect Christian church will officiate. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Memo rial park. Mr. Bean was born Jan. 13, 1917, in Waldron, Ark., the son of Charles S. and Nealy Bean. Mr. Bean.wii self employed as a logging trucker. Survivors, besides his wife, include four sons, Eldon L, Bean, Chiloquin, Ore.; Larry R. Bean, Randy Bean, and Gary Bean, all of Prospect; his mother, Mrs. Nealy Bean Medford; a brother, Charles Bean, Prospect; three sisters Mrs. Robert (Annie) Padgett, Central Point; Mrs. Wayne Griffith, Prospect; and Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Axel, Klam ath Falls; three grandchildren; and several nieces and neph ews. Another brother, Richard J. Bean, preceeded him in death in May, 1961. Casket bearers are Jack De Rosier, Harold Hixson, Roger Snyder, Clifton Chapman, Ray Maurer, and Archie McKillop. RICHARD WILLIAKS Richard Williams, 79, a na- tlve of Cornwall, England, who had made his home in Medford for the past year, died Wednesday in a Central Point nursing home. Mr. Williams had been a resident of the United States for 44 years and worked for the Fruit Growers Supply company of Hilt for 38 years. He retired seven years ago. Surviving are his wife. Mrs. Mabel Williams; three daughters, Mrs. M a r j o r i e Rushton, Medford; Mrs. Gwen Watts, Chico, Calif.; Mrs. Violet Wilson, Yreka, Calif.; and two sons, Russell Wil liams, Hilt, and Roy Williams, Yreka; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Girdner's Funeral chapel at Yreka. Interment will be in the Evergreen cemetery. RUPERT The body of Hazel A. Ru pert, 63, of 132 Portland ave., who died Thursday, has been returned by Conger-Morris Funeral directors to her for mer home in New Rockford, N.D., for services and interment. Miss Rupert was born June 7, 1900, in East Grand Forks Minn., and had been a school teacher for 36 years, moving to Medford three years ago Survivors i n c lu d e two brothers, Kenneth R. Rupert, Medford; and Eugene Rupert; and three sisters, Mrs. Wilma Wilson, New Rockford, N.D.: Mrs. Mary Ginnow, Brecken ride, Minn.; and, Mrs. Louise Higgins, St. Paul, Minn. Grease Fire - Ashland fire men were called at 9:56 o'clock this morning when a grease tire was reported on the grill at the Pioneer di nette, at the Pioneer shopping center. Damage was minor, firemen said. Permits Issued - The Med ford building department is sued permits Thursday to Grandview Market, 2330 Cra ter Lake ave., to erect a post office substation at an approx imate cost of SI. 200; and to Roland Birkholz to make an addition to a residence at 602 North Modoc ave. at an esti mated cost of $3,400. e Wire Damaged - A guy wire op a power pole at Co lumbus ave. and Jackson st. was damaged about 10:35 p.m. Thursday by an unknown ve hicle, according to Medford police. m m v Elections - The Medford Barracks 540 of the Veterans of World War I will hold elec tions at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, to fill vacancies in junior vice commander positions. HANSON - To Mr. and Mrs Gary LeRoy, 1934 Griffin Creek rd., Medford, June 27 1963, a boy, 7 pounds, at Rogue Valley hospital. LAWRENCE D. HULL Funeral services for Law rence D. Hull, 46, of route 2, box 243, Central Point, who died Wednesday will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic church. The Rev. Carl Mai will of ficiate. Interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial park. Re citation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:30 o'clock to night at Perl Funeral home Mr. Hull was born July 12 1916, in Central Point. He was vice president of the Table Rock Improvement company, a director of the Jackson County Fruit Grow ers League, a member of the Medford Elks club, the Rogue Valley Country Club and Sacred Heart Catholic church, On Sept. 16, 1939, he was married! to Ann B. Patton who survives. . Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. Lelah Hull, Cen tral Point; three daughters, Mrs. Regina Shay, St. Louis, Mo.. Deanna Hull, now trav eling in Europe, Marilyn Hull at home and two grandchil dren. Casket bearers will be Cecil Clemens, David Lowry Pail Culbertson, Lyle Kin ney, Joe Meyers and Lowell Iverson.
