JUNE t. 113 Jeskey-Trautman Rites Held in Central Point Central Point-Miss Sharon Louise Trautman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Boes, Route 1, Box S89F, became the bride of William Paul Jes key. Route 1, Box 587, in a ceremony held at the Commu nity Bible church May 29. The Rev. Paul O. Kroon of ficiated at the double ring rites held at 8 o'clock in the evening. Some 250 relatives nd friends attended. . The bridegroom's parents re Mr. and Mrs. William A Jeskey, Aurora, Ore., who traveled here for the cere mony. Also attending were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Marcott, Wood' burn. Ore. , Baskets of white stock, greenery and candles decorat ed the church. Salmon and green feathers marked the pew ends. Mrs. Harold Sharp play' ed the organ music for her niece's wedding and soloists were Miss Beverly Todd and .Gerald Holdridge. Wears Lac ' Mr. Boes escorted his "daughter to the altar and gave her in marriage. She wore floor length gown of Chan- tilly lace over taffeta fashion d with Basque bodice, long sleeves and Sabrina neckline embroidered with pearls and Iridescent sequins. The bouf fant skirt was accented with a wide band of tulle which was ppliqued with lace trimmed with pearls and sequins. The back of the skirt had alternat ing tiers of lace and tulle which formed a chapel train Her fingertip length veil of hand rolled silk Illusion was held by a queen's crown of pearls and she carried a cas cade bouquet of white stepha notis encircling two cymbidi un orchids on a white Bible. Her jewelry was a cultured pearl and diamond necklace, a gift from the bridegroom. Bride's Attendants Attending the bride were Miss Sharon Thompson, maid of honor: Mrs. Larry Kemper, Medford, her cousin, brides- matron; Miss Judy Daniels, Medford, bridesmaid; Miss . DeAnn Trautman, a n o t n e cousin, junior bridesmaid, and Teresa Boes, her sister, flower Sirl. They all wore salmon col- . ered crystaline frocks fashion ed with fitted bodices and full skirts with matching circlet headdresses of feathers and . tulle. ' William Sallee, Woodburn, brother-in-law of the bride '. groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Ronald Jes key, Dufur, Ore., and Jesse Mack, Gervais, Ore., his cous ins. Raymond Trautman. brother of the bride was jun ior groomsman. Seatins the guests were Mr. Kemper and Kenneth Janzen, both Med ford, cousins of the bride. Paul Evers and Ross Burd Loren Smith, Redding, Calif.. cousin of the bride, was ring Dearer. For her daughter's wedding and reception which followed in the youth auditorium at the church, Mrs. Boes chose a green sheath dress with flow ered jacket, a green feathered hat and mink colored accesso ries. Mrs. Jeskey wore a beije sheath dress with white acces sories. Their corsages were of white carnations and yellow rosebuds. Salmon colored roses, white camellias and green ostrich plumes decorated the room for the reception. All of the feather arrangements for the wedding and reception were made by Mrs. Darrell Shep herd. Mrs. DeWayne Smith, Redding, Calif., and Mrs. Dale Bartley, cut and served the wedding cake baked by Mrs. Ray Britton. Mrs. John An' horn and Mrs. Herbert Traut man presided at the punch bowls and Mrs. Art Sharp poured coffee. All are aunts of the bride. Miss Joanne Hill was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Tony Varga, Wonder, Ore, another aunt, Mrs. Evers, and Miss Rose Trautman, sister of the bride, were at the gut table. Assisting were Mrs. Stanley Zwan, cousin of the bride, and Mrs. Russell Thompson. Travel to Coast Following the reception the couple traveled to the Oregon coast on their wedding trip, the bride wearing beige sheath dress with matching coat and red accessories. Her corsage was the two orchids from her bridal bouquet. They are making their home at Route 1, Box 587, Central Point. The bride is a graduate of Crater High school and is the receptionist In the superin tendent's office for School District 8 in Central Point, Mr. Jeskey attended North I jf O fV: ;' -frM 111 ' . . Included will be pic tures of the Philippines, the Orient, Red sea and Sues canal. - 1 The slides are to be shown in a series ot two, the second ' group to ba viewed at the Monday, June 17 meeting. June 11 at 10 ! a.m., with their teacher, Mrs. i Ruby Ralston. j The oil painting class meets each Tuesday afternoon di rected by Mrs. Victoria Staley. Members of the Spanish class are to meet Wednesday, June 12 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with Mrs. Alicia Carter, at the center, instead of their regularly scheduled time on Mondays. At that time the group will determine whether meetings will be held Mon days or Wednesdays. Further information may be obtained from Mrs. Edith Brandenburg or W. H. Walwyn The copper tooling group will meet Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m., and the senior cen ter orche(' 4 will rehearse Thursday from 1 to S p.m., directed by William Pickell. More string Instrumentalists are needed and any senior resident interested is invited to join the group. Newcomers particularly are invited. The Satuis. . bridge group meets Saturday afternoons and further information re garding the group may be re ceived from L. C. Davis, lead er. . . In the absence of the chair man of the center committee, Mrs. Fred Rankin, members who have inquiries may con tact Russ Jamison or John Gribble. c s Shower Hoaers O'Brien Mrs. Wayne Hawkins recently was hon ored at a layette shower held in the home of Mrs. Delia Shaw. Among the guests was her grandmother, Mrs. John Eye an her mother-in-law, Mrs. Neva Hawkins. Marion High school, Aurora, Ore., and is a 1963 graduate of Oregon State university. He will be vocational agriculture teacher at Crater High school. The evening prior to the wedding Mr. and Mrs. Boes were hosts for a dinner pre ceding the wedding rehearsal. Some 35 persons attended. Out of Town Guests Among the out of town guests attending the wedding and reception were Mrs. Sal lee and daughter, Kay, Wood burn, Ore., sister of the bride groom; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Trautman, Seattle, aunt and uncle of the bride: Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sandburg, Moses Lake, Wash., cousins of the bride: Mr. Varga, Wonder, uncle of the bride; Mrs. Charles Bell and daughters, Merced, Calif., cousin of the bride, and Mrs. Paul Silvia and daughter, Glenna, Grants Pass. Mistletoe Club Session Slated A covered dish luncheon is planned by Mistletoe club of Royal Neighbors of America lodge for Wednesday, June 12, at the home of Mrs. Cora Bashaw, 18 Almond street. Members Interested in sew ing are to meet there, at 10 a.m. The luncheon Is set for 12 noon. The Rev. Robert W. Tull, minister of the church, will conduct the installation cere mony. Others being installed and their offices are Mrs. Henry Padgham, first vice president; Miss Irma Barnes, second vice president; Mrs. Duane Rich ardson, secretary, and Mrs. Raymond Smith, treasurer. At noon a potluck salad luncheon will be served. Man or members are to take rolls and others are asked to take a salad. Mrs. Charles Stearns is cohostess with Mrs. Fogelquist. Those attending may meet at the Westgate Shopping Center at 10:15 a.m. to share rides and receive directions to the Fogelquist home. Mrs. Frank Chapman was presented a seal of perfection.
