At Three Dinners

First Christian church.
At the first service the

There will be three annual

from the British West Indies
and Panama, has announced
Sunday's series will consider
the southern portion of the
island of Trinidad with par
ticular emphasis on San Fer

"Called to the Caribbean."
The approach of pentecost
is being considered in the
Sunday school hour at 8:45
a.m. and the 11 a.m. worship

Saints, has been assigned to
French Polynesia.
Announcement of his ap
pointment was made by Elder
Harley J. Davidson, pastor
of the local church, Tenth and
Ivy sis., after Mr. and Mrs.
Hedal returned from the In
stitute in Evangelism held In
Independence, Mo.
Mr. Hedal will attend the
University of Oregon this
summer to study French,
leaving for his new assign
ment in February. Assum
ing the missionary work in
this district this month is El
der Don Balsiger, former
pastor in Sherwood, Ore. Mr.
Balsiger is married and the
couple has five children. This
is his first general church ap
pointment.

A complete Sunday school
program is conducted at 9:40
a.m. with classes for all ages.
All services of the church are
being held for the time at
Wilson school, Grand and
Corona aves., Medford. The
new church facilities will be
ready for occupancy within a
few weeks. Family hour is
held at 6 p.m. with separate
groups for the young people
and a class for adults.
At 7 p.m. Mr. Andrews will
speak on "God's First and
Second Man," a message from
the Book of Romans. The
King's Heralds, men's quartet,
will sing. Jim Andrews will
play a trumpet solo and Linda
Scott will be soloist. The eve
ning service features a sing
time when the congregation
sings many of the favorite
hymns sung the world over.
